FUJIFILM India opens second
graphic art demo centre


Equipped with the Acuity LED 3200R printer, an all new super-wide format printer, FUJIFILM India has unveiled its second demo centre in India. The new graphic art demo centre of the company is located in Gurugram in Delhi-NCR and designed in a way to showcase the latest machines, technologies and innovations.

The new demo centre of FUJIFILM India is designed to demonstrate its latest innovations in graphic art technology and provide customers a first-hand experience of wide-format printing prowess. The new demo centre in Gurugram is second such facility in India, the first one being located in Mumbai. Latest version of Acuity LED 3200R and Acuity EY wide-format printers are installed in the new demo centre. These super-wide printers with LED UV technology can print on a range of rigid and flexible media for different applications.

Commenting on the new demo centre, Haruto Iwata, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India Pvt Ltd, said the objective of opening the new demo centre is to give customers live experience of the company’s printing products as ‘seeing is believing’. “With our world-class printing technology, we are committed towards providing the best user experience. Our Acuity range of printers has been a success with their speed, quality and precision in work. Moreover, these printers are energy efficient and much kinder to environment. We look forward to adding more products to our centre soon,” he stated.

SM Ramprasad, Head- Graphic Arts Business, FUJIFILM India Pvt Ltd, added that they want their customers not just to experience products, but also the complete applications which can create lasting impact for their brands in sign and graphic communications. “Also our customers can see for themselves the value that our solutions can bring to their business. We are confident that the Gurugram demo centre will provide benchmark levels of customer and ownership experience and benefit them in taking a more informed decision about our products,” he asserted.

The second demo center is part of FUJIFILM India’s aggressive expansion plan as the company is targeting double-digit growth for its business, of which the graphics art segment is a key driver. The company has already crossed 100 units of Acuity installations in India, selling almost five to six units per month. It is now targeting doubling its current installations of the printers with more innovative products, focusing the Tier-II and III markets.

The new Acuity LED 3200R can produce quality super-wide display and exhibition graphics in the most cost-effective way. With low energy LED UV curing technology, the super-wide format printer delivers excellent production efficiency with impressive productivity. Its specially formulated FUJIFILM Uvijet inks can print on a range of display materials.

The Acuity EY, on the other hand, is a true breakthrough in wide-format UV digital imaging technology from FUJIFILM, offering the perfect combination of near photographic print quality, production output and investment cost. With Uvijet inks the printer can print on to a broad range of rigid and flexible POP materials up to 48 mm thick and the white ink option provides an opportunity to print high value materials like wood, metal, clear and coloured products.

At the demo centre, visitors can witness live demonstration of the machines accompanied by interactive sessions with our dealers. The centre will also serve as a training ground for the company’s existing customers, providing provision for testing new substrates.

The signage and graphic art printing market of India is growing at an annual rate of around 10-15 percent. There has been a revolutionary change in Indian printing industry in the last 5-10 years. Arrival of global brands, rising consumerism and growth in the sectors like FMCG, telecommunication and automobiles in India trigger new business opportunities for the signage printing companies.
