FUJIFILM Dimatix selects Rex-Tone Industries Ltd to develop its Aquatint inks for certification on Spectra printheads in India
FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc announced recently that it has signed an agreement with Rex-Tone Industries Ltd, enabling them to
develop its AquaTint ink products that can be certified for use in printers being developed in India and for other Spectra
based printer products. Under the agreement, Rex-Tone Industries will undergo a rigorous FUJIFILM Dimatix certification
process to ensure that the specific ink capabilities and formulations Rex-Tone supplies for use with Spectra-branded
printheads consistently meet FUJIFILM Dimatix’ high standards of performance and reliability.
Mumbai-based Rex-Tone Industries, India’s first digital ink manufacturer, has been in the colour business for over 40 years
producing consistently high quality, reliable products, including solvent-based pigmented AquaTint brand inks. The company
has one of the most sophisticated research and development laboratories in India and is the country’s highest selling brand.
