EcoTank inkjet printer for small business
PSON has recently added
its very first doublesided
A3+ printing to
the EcoTank range with the new
ET-16500 4-in-1 inkjet printer.
In keeping with the other cartridge-free EcoTank printers in the
range, the ET-16500 has been designed to offer a hassle-free and
low-cost solution for printing, with its ultra-high-capacity ink tank
system, which is filled by high-volume ink bottles. The ET-16500 is
designed for small business as PSPs can now enjoy all of the lower
lost, low hassle benefits of EcoTank with the addition of doublesided
A3+ printing. Suitable for small businesses, the ET-16500
uses the PrecisonCore printhead and EPSON’s genuine pigment
ink to produce sharp and clear texts.
Weather-resistant media for
aqueous printers from Canon
Considering the importance of
a long-lasting vibrant image,
Canon USA has recently
announced two new media options for
imagePROGRAF large-format printers.
The two newly launched Canon Water
Resistant Adhesive Matte Vinyl (330gsm)
and Canon Water Resistant Matte Banner Vinyl (480gsm), both
designed to withstand most weather elements for up to six months
without lamination, are ideal for banners, posters and signage.
These two materials are designed for projects in diverse industrial
segments, including construction, beverage, education and retail. A
good aspect of these new media types is their ability to be used in
conjunction with aqueous imagePROGRAF printers, helping PSPs
produce bold colourful output for their outdoor displays.
MIMAKI unpacking three new smaller
versions of its UCJV300 Series at FESPA 2018
MIMAKI has announced that they will be unpacking three
new smaller versions of their UCJV300 Series printer at
FESPA 2018, to be held from 15-18 in Berlin. Launched
in September last year, the UCJV300-160 is a printer/cutter
featuring ultra-low running costs and instantly dry ink, which
allows printing to a wide range of materials, including PET
film, fabric and heat sensitive media. Recently, MIMAKI has
announced three new smaller models of the printer: UCJV300-
75, UCJV300-107, and UCJV300-130, with print widths of up
to 80cm, 109cm, and 136cm respectively. All three additional
models of UCJV300 Series will feature Greenguard Gold
certified LUS-170 inks, new ID Cut function for trouble-free
automatic cutting of consecutive jobs via barcode, and unique
four-layer day and night printing, which allows designers to build
layered, transformative graphics for backlit applications

HP Inc. introduces HP DesignJet
T1700 printer a next-generation
44-inch solution for CAD and
geographic information system (GIS)
workgroups to produce highly accurate
documents and maps with powerful processing and a new level of
security. Newly added features on the HP DesignJet T1700 make
it the most secure large-format workgroup printer available. The
improved security is designed to help enterprises print CAD and GIS
applications while protecting printers and data from unauthorised or
malicious access in infrastructure construction, urban planningas well
as utilities industries such as oil, water, gas, and electricity.

Mimaki has announced the launch of a
new media line called Mimaki Vision,
which includes gloss vinyl variants:
Mimaki Vision Vinyl, Mimaki Vision Laminate
and Mimaki Vision Laminate 310. The development of Mimaki
Vision completes the company’s already vast portfolio of print
service provider solutions. Currently, Mimaki, apart from its array
of printers, cutting plotters, hardware, software, also manufactures
consumable items, such as inks and cutting blades. Mimaki Vision
Vinyl print media is engineered with strong dimensional stability
and low shrinkage. It offers strong adhesive force, leaving behind
little residue after removal.
HP announces HP Latex R Series

HP has announced the introduction of HP Latex R Series, the
first true hybrid latex technology that merges flexible printing
capabilities into rigid printing. The new HP system brings the
most vibrant colours into the rigid printing world. The system was
unveiled at the recent ISA Sign Expo
2018 at the Orange County Convention
Center, South Hall in Orlando, Florida.

HP releases new satin wrapping paper
HP has sensed that consumers’ love for
customisable products continues to
grow. To fill this demand, the company
introduces HP Satin Wrapping Paper, a printable, high-quality
wrapping paper designed to create memorable gifts and products
with a personal touch. HP Satin Wrapping Paper allows consumers
to print their own photos, logos and custom messages on this
recyclable, FSC-certified paper. With the introduction of the new
paper PSPs can create custom gift wrap for their customers for
all occasions using their HP PageWide XL, HP DesignJet Z6XXX,
and HP Latex printers for little to no investment.
