XAAR claims feedbacks from users ‘valuable’

XAAR’s new online community is providing product and technical information 24x7 as the company makes it even easier for customers to work with its leading inkjet printhead technology. Since its launch in March this year, the portal has already become an invaluable tool, receiving excellent feedback from customers. The XXAR Community initially grew out of XAAR’s work with leading printer manufacturers, from whom it sought to understand customers’ needs generally, as well as the best ways to provide solutions for them. In the unique eco-system of XAAR Community, answers to product questions, tips, and troubleshooting are converted into articles that are then made available to everyone in the knowledge centre, where they are accessible at anytime, anywhere in the world.

Messe Frankfurt India
acquires Screen Print India


After the acquisition of Media Expo in 2014, it is now Screen Print India which Messe Frankfurt India has announced as another defining acquisition. The acquisition has been made to strengthen the presence of Messe Frankfurt India (a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading trade show organisers Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH) in the country. Since its inception in 1994, Screen Print India is organised biennially in Mumbai and has grown wider in scope covering not just screen printing but textile and digital printing. Previously owned and managed by Aditya Expositions Pvt Ltd, the acquisition not only reinforces its position as a formidable player in the print sector but also broadens its scope in the textile technologies portfolio.

Raj Manek, executive director and board member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd said Screen Print India, being the only dedicated show in this segment, accelerates their strategy to expand and enhance the offerings they provide to their customers and partners in the printing and textile sectors. “By allowing both Media Expo and Screen Print India to be independent of each other, we aim at developing the exhibitions in a more targeted and well-defined manner to suit their respective visitor profiles and market demands. Going forward, we also aim to expand the exhibit segments and develop the scale of the platform to that of internationally renowned exhibitions in this space.”

Screen printing industry in India has tremendous potential for expansion and diversification. The next Screen Print India is scheduled from April 20 – 22, 2018 at Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

Challenge expands to China, Japan and South Korea



Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has announced its fifth annual ‘Wrap Like a King’ Challenge that runs from July 01 through September 16. One of the major changes in this year’s landmark wrap challenge is the expansion of regions. The contest this year will include contestants from China, Japan and South Korea. EPSON to boost volume of production of inkjet printers

EPSON Corporation has recently announced that its manufacturing subsidiary EPSON Precision (Philippines) Inc has completed construction of a new plant aimed at boosting volume of production of inkjet printers. The company is also seeking to expand 3LCD projector production within its existing facility. EPSON has invested US$143 million to construct state-of-the-art facilities inside the grounds of the existing plant. The new facilities have been constructed with the environment in mind, and include on the roof a mega solar power generation system with a maximum capacity of approximately 3,000 kWh.
