than you think. The second edition of the expo is staging from October 29-31, 2012 at Pragati Maidan,
New Delhi by unfolding a fresh array of exhibits and new ‘live’ activities at its popular LiveExperience Zones.

What to exhibit?
Versatile and focused participants who
are carrying out resourceful exhibits in the
second edition of India Sign + Digital (ISD) 12
would include all key industry players
engaging in manufacturing and distributions
of digital large-format printers, CNC routers,
plotters/cutters, substrates, vinyl, print
finishing equipments, glow signs, A-boards/
pavement displays, anti-graffiti/bacterial
signage, cut/moulded/built-up letters, finished
sign systems, floor-graphics, heat transfer,
dye-sublimation, labels/decals, POS/displays,
software and lots more. ISD guarantees the
exhibits being a reflection of what is trending
in the current signage market of India.
Who will visit?
Crowd of visitors at ISD 2012 would
be from 23 key market segments, which
include PSPs, ad agencies, architects, fleet
service providers, outdoor media, commercial
printers, copy shops/repro houses, corporate/
business signage, print users, etc. Region-wise
segregation of the crowd who thronged the
debut edition of the expo last year consisted
of north India (48%), south India (15%),
west India (13%), central India (11%), east
India (9%), and overseas (4%). It has been
expected a bigger crowd this year and almost
90 percent of them would turn out to be
decision makers.
What’s new in ‘live’ zones?
The popular LiveExperience Zones
of ISD will have fresh fervours with the
addition of three more new zones, viz.
ScreenExpression Zone, CeramicPrint Zone
and NarrowFormat Zone, adding fresh thrills
to the existing WallArt Zone, WrapperZone,
TextileTemptation Zone and Events&Show
Zone. Newly launched ScreenExpression
Zone would be a zone where expanding
possibilities of screen printing can be caught
and CeramicPrint Zone will be a preferred
spot to witness customised bath, kitchen and
other applications. And NarrowFormat Zone
will doubtlessly be a groundbreaking new
zone underlining attractive range of printon-
demand digital printing viz. photo books,
event collaterals, etc.
What’s bigger opportunity?
India being a market of more than
12,500 sign makers with a turnover of Rs
5,700 crore and more than Rs 3,750 crore
capital investment and around 3,95,000
employed manpower directly/indirectly, the
large-format printing domain alone stands
at around 995 million euro and OOH segment
(ad spending) is estimated to attain
400 million euro. ISD is indeed a gateway to
navigate into the unexplored domains of the
emerging Indian market.
