Get into new-age retail designs &
consumer insights at In-Store Asia 2018


The 11th edition of In-Store Asia, which is scheduled from February 22-24, 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai, features an exhibition and a convention on in-store marketing, retail design and visual merchandising.


In-Store Asia 2018 has set to provide the retail world an unmatched opportunity to explore, reboot and re-imagine new age retailing. On the show floor of 4,000 sq m of net exhibition space, the expo will have more than 150 exhibitors showcasing POP display & shopper marketing, retail technology, signage printers, retail designs, VM & props, lighting and fixture, materials & equipments.

Convention

A two-day convention at In-Store 2018 will host 20 Indian and International speakers, who will address the latest trends and tradition of shopper marketing, consumer insight, retail design & visual merchandising. Welcome speech of the convention will be delivered by Bijou Kurien, Strategy Board Member, L Catterton Asia on the topic ‘Re-imagining the Store’. In the follow-up, Jane Perry, MD, Geometry Global-Singapore, will take on the topic: ‘Need for brands on shelves to collaborate with store environments to deliver elective shopper marketing today.’

‘The growth of beauty across online & onine channels in India’ will be the topic Vivek Bali, COO, Sephora India, Arvind Lifestyle Brands will talk about. Then, Sagar Daryani, co-founder, WOW! Momo, will talk about ‘Creative Disruption - How to differentiate in a crowd. In a Common Session, Elke Moebius, Global Head of Retail/Retail Technology, director, EuroShop and EuroCIS will conduct the programme ‘EuroShop 2017’.

In the next session, Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, founder, Fabrica By Chef Saby, will narrate about ‘Multi Sensory Branding in Retail - Specialty Dining’. This will be followed by the Panel Discussion on ‘Managing Scale of Rollouts’ in which Jayant Kochar, Retail Strategy Consultant Go Fish, will be the moderator and in the panel will be Vaibhav Parab, Future Group; Rohit Patra, Reliance Brands; Avinsh Kumar, Neeru’s.

The next day of the convention will dawn with a Common Session ‘New Age Consumer Insights + Release of Paper’ which will be conducted by Sushmita Balasubramaniam, practice head, Kantar Shopper Insights. In the next session on ‘In-Store Marketing’ K Radhakrishnan, co-founder, Tata Starquik.Com, will take on the topic ‘Evolution of Grocery Retail’. Then it will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘Evolving Trends in Shopper Marketing to the Connected Indian Consumer’ in which Ajay Kelkar, co-founder, COO, Hansa Cequity, will be the moderator, with panellists: Sudip Mitra, Marico; Pearlraj Cannivady, SPAR Hypermarket; Beena Thomas, Godrej Consumer Products; and Manish Makhijani, HUL.

After the quiz session Dwarika Prasad Uniyal, there will be ‘The Art of Creating Impactful VM in Omni-Channel Retail’ to be conducted by Joe Baer, co-founder and CEO, ZenGenius Inc. Then the next programme will be the panel discussion tilled ‘Digitizing the Store Experience in India’ with moderator Surender Gnanaolivu and panellists: Sarvesh Dwivedi, Lifestyle; Vishal Kapoor, Future Group; Anurag Sehgal, founder director & principal interaction designer, Experiential Design Lab, India, iThink Interaction Design FZC, UAE.

Kepron, VP - Design, Global Design Strategies, Marriott International, will talk about ‘New Trends in Digital Enabled Shopping Environments, as part of the closure of the convention, which will also have the gala of VM&RD Retail Design Awards.
