Four landmark projects in far and near regions

In the recent past, what has been witnessed in different parts of the country are some landmark projects executed by leading signage firms in different regions. Highlighting here are four such projects, which are spotted in four regional zones—West, South, North and East. Uniqueness of each project is the way the signage players play wisely selecting right printing media and other materials like LEDs, aluminium panels, acrylics and others.

West Zone

Making them stand unique, pulling attention of by passers from far off distances, Faraz Signage Systems has recently executed a landmark signage project in Mumbai. The project was for the bar and restaurant Lord of The Drinks at Kamla Mill, Mumbai. In the project, the signage company used best of materials and technologies, with their attempts to make the displays unique from others. There were three 35x6 channel-letter signs involved in the project. For illumination, they opted for SAMSUNG LEDs and high pressure Alomax ACP sheet. ML Faraz of Faraz Signage Systems says the installation part was quite a challenge. “We used crane to lift up the signage to the rooftop height,” he explains.

South Zone

Media Signs, a division of Media Group of Companies in Chennai, has recently accomplished a string of head-turning signage projects around the city. Roopanraj S of Media Signs says they print the graphics on EPSON SureColor S40670 printer, using quite a line of premium materials, such as Starflex, Hi-Sign, etc. They also use high-end Shinkolite acrylic sheet from Mitsubishi Chemical for the cut-letters in both indoor and outdoor applications in the project. SAMSUNG LEDs are what they chose for the LED light boxes, especially for the ones at First City—Big Store For Little Ones. The other clients, for them the company made indoor and outdoor displays, were Studio 31, Casperon, Jaffer’s Briyani and Bliss Dosa.

North Zone

In the North Zone, Prime Publicity in Jalandhar has done quite a few catchy projects in and around the city, including the hill resort of Mount Abu where they installed cut letter LED mounted signs. They opted for best quality ACP materials for all the projects they have executed. The other companies for which Prime Publicity has carried out projects all around the region include Oreva Gallery, Kumar Outlet: Wholesale & Retail. Vaneet Dhir from Prime Publicity says they make the display systems using a Graphtech cutting plotter and a DGI printer, choosing a premium range of high-end media.

East Zone

Guwahati-based award-winning signage company Binayak Advertising, widely-known for outdoor signage projects, has recently completed a series of executions for a mix of clients—Kaziranga University, Gionee, Royal Global University and Style. The hoardings of sizes varying from 35x20 ft up to 60x60 ft have been installed all across the city of Guwahati. Abhishek Lohia of Binayak Advertising says they have been in the market over the last ten years, handling projects for different clients from different industrial clusters. The company won the International Flower Festival (Gangtok) for their ‘décor and design’ work a few years ago.
