Nestled at the heart of India’s most industrious state of Jharkhand, Jamshedpur is home to some leading signage players who are privileged with landmark projects from TATA Group, a single-largest industry in the state. In this industrial land of Jamshedji Tata, a host of corporate biggies also co-exist demanding high-end signage projects on in-store graphics, outdoor hoardings, billboards and many others. Jamshedpur has a geographical advantage for signage players in the region working for a number of customers coming even from the neighbouring regions of Odisha and West Bengal. Media Magix

With a commitment to give their customers’ business more vibrant and appealing auras using creative approaches, Media Magix pledges to deliver signage solutions with outstanding graphics and textures. Talking jubilantly, Manish Raj, proprietor of the firm, says they have always been committed to deliver impressive print outputs and services in the line of keeping timeliness attuned to the demands of their clients. Media Magix, which has been in the city since its inception in 2004, has refined itself with the constant adoption of technological prowess as well as keeping breast with advanced equipments.

Baked by all sorts of resources to satisfy the needs of their customers, be it print or graphic designs, Media Magix has a team of 19 well-trained and skilled sign-making professionals. Equipped with a line of solvent printers, such as Infinity FY-3286J and UltraJet F with Spectra and KM printheads respectively alongside an eco-solvent printer E Jet VO with EPSON Dx7 printhead, the production facility of Media Magix is designed to meet the increasing demands for high-end graphics among its customers, which include Tata Steel, Tata Teleservices, Jusco, Tayo Rolls, Coca-Cola, Tata Power, etc. According to Manish, Media Magix is an authorised vendor for most of their existing clients.




Origin
Giving customers top priority

The first and foremost thing at Origin is customers’ satisfaction. Over the last two years, this signage firm has been escalated to a stature of a complete outdoor and indoor advertising solutions provider. Rizwan is the one who holds the fort of Origin along with his brothers who take care of client dealing and marketing. Incepted in 2015, Origin boasts of its production facility with a solvent printer with Konica 512 printhead, a vinyl cutting plotter and a Xerox 700 digital colour press. At present, Origin has 300 sq ft production unit with two workshops at separate places.

Enlisting their customers Rizwan states that they have a combo of corporate cum government enterprises in their clientele. In the clientele, leading names are Tata Motors, Jharkhand East, Metalso and NIT Jamshedpur, SE Railways and SAIL. About the landmark projects they have accomplished so far, Rizwan mentions RSB Global, Metalsa, and of course, TATA Motors. Origin has been maintaining a continuous client relationship. In this, according to Rizwan, one must need to maintain ‘clients first strategy’ in the industry.




Idea Xerox
Where ideas get printed

Idea Xerox is considered to be a one-stop printing corner catering prints of all sorts, covering both digital large-format graphics as well as commercial prints. Established in 2003, Idea Xerox is a brainchild of Amit Puri and this printing firm handles a number of landmark projects for corporate biggies like Tata Power, Turtle and Crymsom. The production facility of the company is equipped with a ColorJet 1024 solvent printer with Konica printhead, an HP Latex 310 and other equipments in the finishing division.

Adding more to their business, Idea Xerox also works for popular ad agency PosterScope, which handles signage projects of all kinds, ranging from in-shop displays up to OOH. So, throughout the year, the company remains submerged in meeting the increasing demands for newer applications and innovations coming gradually from their customers from different industrial strata. In addition, being located at Aambagan, a printing hub in the city, Idea Xerox witnesses a huge number of walk-in-customers with their specific requirements of signage and other related jobs. Talking about their future plan, Amit Puri says they are looking at adoption of a flatbed printer soon.




Vision and Vision
Socially responsible signage player

Spreading awareness message for general public, Vision and Vision has been working with PWD, Jharkhand I&B Department and many other government bodies for their mass awareness programmes and campaigns for years. For these public sector projects, this signage firm extensively provides hoarding graphics, traffic awareness boards and fabricated booths all over Jharkhand. Ajeet Kumar, proprietor of Vision and Vision had started the firm around three decades back when they engaged in signage projects from DPRO (District Public Relations Office).

The production facility of Vision and Vision is equipped with a portfolio of Gongzheng digital wide-format printers with Polaris printheads. With its registered office in Bistupur, this popular signage firm boasts of its team of 15 well trained sign-making professionals who handle everything right from machine operation upto graphic designing, fabrication and installation.




Anita Printers
Always ahead of others

Started in the first place with just a screen printing machine, Anita Printers has scaled a new height of perfection by delivering cutting edge signage solutions to their clientele comprising corporate biggies as well as government departments in Jamshedpur. At present, the production facility of Anita Printers is equipped with a ColorJet and a YuviJet from Yuvraj Enterprises, dealer of ColorJet in Jamshedpur and manufacturer of YuviJet series.

Ajay Kumar, founder of Anita Printers, says they are quite happy with the versatility and competency of the ColorJet and YuviJet printers. Some of the leading customers of the company include LIC, SBI and a group of popular NGOs in the region. Talking about the challenges and cut-throat market competitions they usually face in the industry, Ajay says it’s important to first read the minds of their customers to keep them intake for years through trust and good relationship. He further says, with his team of 10 signage professionals, they plan to move ahead in the market.




Reflection
One time deliveries as their USP

Giving ‘client servicing’ a top priority in business, Reflection is just another popular signage firm in the city. Rajesh Vasani, founder of the firm, recalls the credibility that makes them standout amid the crowd in the city’s signage market. “We were established in the year 2005—the time when they were solely into handling Tata Steel’s signage projects,” he says, adding that they simply kick started their bon voyage into the signage industry with the mere adoption of a vinyl cutter at their facility.

From time to time, Reflection keeps upgrading their production facility. As on date, the facility is equipped with a line of high-end printers/machines, which includes a ColorJet printer, an HP Latex 310 and an AXYZ CNC router. “In addition, our finishing division is equipped also with a versatile and highly precision Roland vinyl cutting plotter,” mentions Rajesh. Some of the big customers for which Reflection has been working for years in delivering landmark outdoor and indoor projects include LG, Sony, IFB Voltas and some ad agencies. Rajesh says their team is dedicated to run their machines 24x7 to meet deadlines of their customers.




Khushbu Advertising
A corner for classy jobs

Khushbu Advertising is one of much sought after PSPs in Jamshedpur. Strategically situated at the heart of the city, this popular signage company has been in the market over the last fourteen years, serving a number of big corporate biggies. A family-based business, Khushbu Advertising is run by Mishra brothers, viz. Vijay Mishra and Vikram Mishra who together have taken the brand ‘Khushbu Advertising’ to the light of popularity. “Ours is a complete solution corner and we attempt to deliver classy outputs to appease our clients to their fullest satisfactory level,” remarks Vijay Mishra, adding that they have recently done a landmark fabrication for Mercedes showroom in the city. Apart from that, Khushbu Advertising is an authenticated agency to design and fabricate Sudha Milk Parlors chain throughout the state. Another prominent customer in the list is Bharat Petroleum.

Having been involved with a number of corporate customers, Khushbu Advertising has been trying to tap the top notch companies in the corporate sector, aiming at values to surpass jobs of conventional PSPs. All the vigor of the company is its production facility where installed two EPSON eco-solvent printers, an Infiniti solvent printer. Khushbu Advertising boasts of a strong team of 30 sign-making professionals. “To name some of the long-term customers in our client list, the enumeration will include Siyaram, Bharat Petroleum, United Spirits and Amul,” mentions Vijay. When asked what they are planning for future, his short reply was ‘packaging’.




Yuvraj Enterprise
A choice for ad agencies

Incepted as a mere photocopier shop in the city, Yuvraj Enterprise has eventually been transformed into a one-stop signage corner in Jamshedpur. “It has been more than 15 years in the market since our entry into the city’s signage market. At our first stance, in the year 2000, we started our business as an Apsom Infotex dealer, distributing ColorJet printers in the region,” says Raghuveer Singh. Alongside the dealership, Yuvraj Enterprises entered into manufacturing with the launch of their own brand YuviJet produced at their plant at Adityapur Industrial Area in the city.

When it comes to print service, Raghuveer says they don’t deal directly with customers and they have a production facility with a Roland solvent printer and a YuviJet solvent printer. “We have tied up with a number of leading ad agencies based in Jamshedpur and other neighboring cities,” mentions Raghuveer, adding that they are however looking forward to adopting new marketing/business models that would enhance their activities to a new level.
