Scotchcal Gloss Overlaminate 8528, which specifically is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, UV rays and acid dew has been launched by 3M Commercial Graphics.
The new overlaminate means longer-lasting graphics that stay vibrant, which helps set users apart from the market competition. The glossy finish of the product gives wet-paint look. This 2-mil cast vinyl provides excellent conformability and dimensional stability. It is designed for use with solvent, latex and UV inks.

New brushed metal finishes announced by 3M Graphics Market Center for its Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 join matte and carbon fibre deliver a wide selection of colours and finishes for a broad range of wrap applications. Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 are long-term, removable cast films. They are designed for solid colour vehicle detailing, decoration and full wraps without the need for graphic protection. Graphtec America releases two new flatbed cutters

The family of Graphtec America’s roll-fed and flatbed cutters has been extended with the recent addition of the company’s FC4500 series in the product line. The FC4500 flatbed cutting plotters are available in two table sizes. The FC4500-50 has a cutting area of 23.2x16.9 inch and FC4510-60 is of 33.8 x 23.6 inch. Both the cutting tables come standard with dual head configuration allowing pens, cutting tools and creasing tools to be loaded simultaneously.
The new reverse creasing function of FC4500 allows alignment and creasing on the reverse side of the printed cardstock to prevent traces of creasing operation from appearing on the printed surface.
