Trading name of Océ businesses changed to Canon Production Printing

Canon is changing the trading name of its Océ businesses globally to Canon Production Printing, effective from January 1, 2020. Océ – the production printing operation of Canon Group – will also integrate its products under the Canon brand name. The move comes less than two years after Canon renamed its local production print business Océ Oceania. For both organisations, the change creates brand unity across all areas of their printing business. With the change in brand name, Océ and Canon will continue servicing their respective ends of the printing market, and the transition ensures a congruous, ‘end-to-end’ capability across the entire print portfolio of the two companies. This enables both brands to continue servicing a broad range of clients’ evolving needs, with industry-leading printing hardware and software that is customised for a range of industries.
