Amritsar-based Dolphin Glow Sign is a one-stop signage and graphic arts solutions provider. A long-term customer of Monotech Systems, the company has already equipped with Pixeljet Ultron+ UV hybrid and Pixeljet Prime solvent and Pixeljet miniRTR being the latest addition for special décor graphics. “As long as our relationship with Monotech Systems is concern, I’d say we totally rely on their machines and dedicated support,” says Gulraj Singh Dhingra, CEO, Dolphin Glow Sign.
Gulraj adds that the Pixeljet printers are perfectly engineered to meet unconventional applications of their customers from different segments, so is adoption of the Pixeljet miniRTR for wallpaper printing in décor projects. For more than 25 years in the industry, Dolphin Glow Sign works for Coca-Cola, HDFC Bank, OCM, Jockey, and Vadilal to execute turnkey projects across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and J&K. Pixeljet miniRTR is a well-engineered roll-to-roll system with Piezo Drop-on-Demand technology and three RICOH industrial-grade printheads for producing max print size of 1800 mm at 150 sqft/hr in 2400 dpi resolution.
Rigid media printing to another level
A division of 40-year-old publishing group Nageen Prakashan, Meerut-based Nageen Print Pack is a fastest-growing printing & packaging service provider. Installation of the new Pixeljet Ultron+ UV hybrid has empowered the company to take its rigid material printing to another level. “In the last two years, we expanded into the packaging domain, which is now gaining new grounds with our update with a highly versatile Pixeljet Ultron+ UV hybrid printer,” says Vatsal Jain, Director, Nageen Print Pack. The company’s state-of-the-art infrastructure of 150,000 sq ft is equipped with post-press machines from BOBST and Presto.
When it comes to rigid media compatibility, Pixeljet Ultron+ prints practically on any rigid and roll-to-roll materials such as corrugated boards, glass, foam-board, wood, aluminum, MDF, etc. “Such media flexibility and capability of the machine to deliver exceptional print quality help us find a new impetus in our packaging printing,” mentions Vatsal. It features RICOH industrial-grade printheads (7–35 pL) to deliver sharp prints produced combining white ink and six colours in 2400 dpi resolution at the max speed of 45 sqm/hr, taking up 100mm thick media.
