ColorJet Group launches high-speed METRO NXT direct-to-fabric printer

Bringing a new dimension to industrial textile printing, ColorJet Group announces the launch of a new high-quality and high-speed METRO NXT textile printer. It was unpacked at a grand launch session during the recent India ITME 2022 expo held at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR.

The new ColorJet METRO NXT industrial textile printer was unveiled by Madhu Sudan Dadu, Chairman, ColorJet Group, along with a host of dignitaries comprising Arun Varshney, Vice President, and Business Head-Textiles Business; Smart Bansal, GM-Product/Brand Management, ColorJet Group; and their printhead partner Hironobu Fujihashi, General Manager and Anshul Prashar, Deputy Senior Marketing Manager, Kyocera Asia.

ColorJet METRO NXT is an industrial textile printer that combines the digital advantages of high-speed printing. It is equipped with 32 industrial-grade Kyocera printheads with high-quality print using ColorJet-recommended inks. ColorJet METRO NXT is available in the configuration of 8-Color options with speeds up to 9000 sq m/day.

MS Dadu commented, “The new METRO NXT will bring a new dimension to our existing portfolio of textile printing machines providing highly productive solutions to big textile mills, processing houses, and exporters who are looking for high production along with high precision textile printing.” In his statement on the newly launched METRO NXT, Hironobu Fujihashi, General Manager, Kyocera Asia, said, “I’m expecting a bright future of digital textile printing. METRO NXT addresses various market segments such as soft signage, fashion apparel for women’s, men’s, and kids’ clothing, and home furnishings like curtains, bed sheets, sofa covers, etc. In addition, the printer is designed to print shirts, skirts, scarf, and saree. It is compatible with a diverse range of textile and fabric materials like cotton, viscose, polyester, polyamide, silk, and wool and is suitably engineered for printing high-quality home decor fabrics.
