EPSON opens new textile printing centre in Japan

EPSON has announced the opening of textile solutions centre called TSC Asia at its plant in Nagano. The centre is designed to ‘accelerate the global expansion of the digital textile printing business. TSC Asia is equipped to handle every step in the textile printing process, including textile pre- and post-treatment. The company has invested about 300 million yen ($A$4m) in the 1,000 sq m space which is housed in its Fujimi Plant in the Nagano prefecture. EPSON and its Italian subsidiaries For.Tex and Fratelli Robustelli have been researching and developing digital textile printing as well as producing the Monna Lisa series of inkjet digital textile printers. TSC Asia opened prior to the completion of Building B in response to growing demand from Asia.
