Billboards in honour of black personalities in history

Kicking off the Black History Month, Lamar Advertising in the US and Canada honoured some of the best and the brightest black Americans who have contributed to the tapestry of the country’s culture. Lamar used its network of digital billboards throughout the US to highlight nine black heroes whose accomplishments made history and changed the world. Lamar’s billboards also paid tribute to other Black trailblazers including lawyer, economics scholar and civil rights activist Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander; Margaret E Bailey, George Washington Carver, Rudolph Fisher, Langston Hughes, Toni Morrison, among others.
