Print & Digital Convention in Düsseldorf postponed

Messe Düsseldorf, organiser of drupa, currently focusing on this virtual.drupa 2021 (Apr 20-23), has announced that a third wave of the pandemic has forced it to postpone the Print & Digital Convention, a physical trade show that had been planned to take place in Düsseldorf in June this year. Germany has tightened its borders as new COVID-19 cases hit 20,000 a day. There are fears the country could see 100,000 new infections a day if a third wave of COVID-19 continues to spread. The co-organisers of the event, Fachverband Medienproduktion (f:mp.) and Messe Düsseldorf, say they are now counting on better general conditions in [northern] autumn and an extended planning horizon for participants.
