Coca-Cola goes big with social distancing norm in Times Square

Created in partnership with Mercado McCann (Argentina), the iconic billboard at Times Square in New York City sported a Coca-Cola ad that heralded health advice amid COVID-19 pandemic. Passersby who walked into the heart of Manhattan would see Coke’s name with extended spaces between letters in a satisfying play of autology. Coke has made a number of changes to its operations since the COVID-19 outbreak. The company announced that they have gone through extreme measures to protect the safety of its staff and customers by implementing steps which include additional cleaning and sanitisation routines and restricting visitors to its facilities.
